Our main Data Center is Germany, located in Frankfurt. With more than 260.000 square feet, it is one of Frankfurt's largest data centers. Offers scalable, high-quality solution with access to multiple carriers, providing a minimum N + 1 standard for power and cooling systems, providing an optimal 24x7 operating environment.
Facility security borders on paranoid. New customers need to have their fingerprints scanned and stored on their own ID cards. These cards are used in combination with biometric readers placed at almost every door in the facility, ensuring that ID cards cannot be exchanged and are useless if stolen.
Security gates at the two entrances to the center are also designed to stop anyone who might try to slip an approved person behind. A 24/7 security cabin is located next to the main entrance, and even the exterior of the building itself is indescribable.
Chilled water is supplied from the mechanical plant which also contains a massive chilled water tank providing 24 hours of cooling for a full project load. It is kept cool at all times so that in the event of a power failure, where the center's chillers and pumps are forced to restart, the cooling is maintained.
In the event that the power to the center is cut off, the reserve power is supplied through diesel generator sets. The generators are kept warm to be ready to take the load within 45 seconds of a utility failure, well within the UPS's 10-minute supply time at the center.
The Local Operations Command Center monitors the status of mechanical, electrical and fire protection services in the building, as well as safety and environmental elements such as the air temperature inside the halls. We have technical engineers on site 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
